When have we not had puppies.

We breed Basenjis from time to time; we hope some will find show homes but we raise them to be healthy happy dogs.

This pic was taken during the eclipse. Those sunglasses were not to look up but to protect my eyes from puppies’ needle-like nails while we kissed.

This dog was a class act … very self aware. He knew the drill in ring. Like my recent pup Murphy (my avatar here) Ambrose considered a leash an insult. We used it in the ring but it was obviously not needed.

Some dogs are just naturals. Ambrose is lovely. They leave paw prints on our hearts

Those are very cool dogs. Some people have issues with breeders but the truth is were it not for breeders many of the breeds would go extinct. I saw some Skye terriers at the shows and if I’m not mistaken there are only about 4,000 left worldwide. They are amazing looking dogs. This is the one who won at the last show we were at. These people really love their dogs and the breed.
