I think time will tell. As I understand, the “Centrist” voter is the most prolific voter in the US elections.
Let’s revisit in November. If I’m wrong, I owe you a case of beer.
I think the positive energy and excitement about a common future will swamp the snarling, grievance obsessed Republican slate. Who wants to wallow in misery and anger when laughter and hope are on the menu? I think you’re over thinking the policy thing.

Maybe I missed it, but I never did see you respond to the question as to specifically why you think this ticket is a disappointment to moderates. What policies or ideas that they support do you feel are turn-offs to moderate voters? I’m keeping in mind, of course, that the term “moderate voter” has no hard definition and is almost completely subjective.

One of the posters going ham in this thread was posting in the article about Biden’s announcement on stepping out that they were telling their children that voting didn’t matter and wasn’t planning on voting in November because Biden’s announcement made them apathetic. Engage and respond accordingly.
