Postmaster General Louis DeJoy is scheduled to testify before the Senate Homeland Security and Governmental Affairs Committee beginning at 9 a.m. ET Friday. Enforceable by whom? Barr? Never gonna happen. He could resign. Mnuchin seems to be running the show anyway. The damage to the USPS has already been done. Mission accomplished.
Haha I know the word from Brit friends who used it talking about Peter Sellers in the original “The Ladykillers.” Means “petty criminal,” folks. Course now he can do his criming on a grand scale.
BTW, he seems nervous even with a friendly questioner. Relax, Louis, you fuck, and just answer the questions honestly like the good-faith appointee we know you are. I’ll just be over here sharpening my knives.
That’s a god-damn lie. You lying fuck. You’re putting yourself in, you realize that, right? Have you talked to your lawyer about this? Are you stupid? Why are you doing this?
I may be biased but I loved the content and I loved the format too. It’s harder, much harder, on the speakers not to have an audience, but thousands and thousands of people present information online this way and it’s an obvious new and efficient model. Really fascinating.
His denial of speaking with Mark Meadows is an out-and-out lie. He was tripping over his words more in that denial than at any other moment in this hearing.
