Just not through Trump.

We’re going to be cleaning up the mess from Dotard for years, if not decades. Hopefully one of the first things they do next year is repeal the pension law and finally put things right for the USPS.

I hope that they ask him to describe what the “normal processing and delivery standards” are, and how they have changed since he took control. Yeah, yeah, we know “Covid” and all that, but you would think that this would be a time to maintain current levels of staffing rather than cutting them.
Dems also need to push for bills supporting mail in voting and demanding that election boards honor every ballot mailed on or before election day. If we need to pass a supplementary funding bill to provide the postal support, do it. Make the GOP come out against safe voting. Make them own it.

“It’s like they’re setting us up for failure,” she said

They are setting you up as a scapegoat for why millions of ballots must not be counted.

They’ve been putting money in the bills to protect elections and USPS and whatever the crisis du jour is at the moment. Forcing accountability in the legislation for PPP or whatever program they fund.

The executive branch does what it wants knowing that they will get away with it for at least a few months as the gop Senate won’t say a word and the courts will not keep up.

I said the same things over the weekend while writing my gop Senator and the newspaper. Mr Akimbo reminded me: nobody is going to save us before election day.

ETA: The best we can do is put pressure on the gop Senators with reelection problems to slow his roll.

There is absolutely no better way to utterly destroy a service business than to intentionally reduce quality and timeliness

This is not only about voting; trump thinks this is a way to hurt amazon. But he hurts all on-line vendors…and customers. Also usps keeps ups and fed ex rates under control.nn

Gee, maybe it’s time to repeal the ridiculous (2006?) law mandating that the USPS fund its pension plans for the next 75 years? Thanks, Newt, great idea. And DeJoy is just another example of “only the best people donors.” Please, for the love of all that’s holy, vote November 3rd as though your life depended on it, because it will.

“Postmaster General Attracts Congressional Scrutiny” is a tad too subtle and understated for me. I would posit that “Ratfucking of Epic Proportions Takes Place at Post Offices’”
Just sayin’
