Secretary of State Mike Pompeo says he isn’t sweating the House’s impeachment inquiry.
In an interview with The Wichita Eagle Thursday, Pompeo said that he doesn’t think that the impeachment inquiry has damaged his image or leadership at the State Department.

You can’t keep dodging it forever, Pompeo. Especially when the indictments start appearing.
Pompeo is up to his neck in Trump’s scheme to shakedown other countries for political help. He is sweating it, and knows Trump won’t help him. Pompeo has a decent chance of going to prison when Trump is gone from office.

“Maybe with less funding, fewer experienced analysts, more political appointees, with low morale and conflicted and confusing goals but they will continue to do all those things,” he added.

People like Pompeo know full well that they are lying, but also believe that power creates facts.
They are convinced that they have the muscle to hold sway over whatever facts exist which are contrary to the narrative (any narrative) they choose to subscribe to.
understands this. Understands that “facts are what I SAY they are” in the above situations.
The problem here for Pompeo and the Trump Administration is that the lawless posture that they must adhere to, in turn, alienates and frightens most Americans. More than half desiring Impeachment of Trump and removal from Office is not normal.
In my view, the only way forward for quacks like Pompeo, security risks like Barr and insane dictator-wannabees like Trump is for their Crew to actually become the rulers of a lawless country.
That is the only way they remain in Power.
