President Obama leads the swing state of Florida by 4 points, 50 percent to Republican nominee Mitt Romney’s 46 percent, in a new poll from Democratic-leaning Public Policy Polling (PPP). That’s an improvement from the firm’s last survey of the state, conducted Aug. 31 to Sept. 2, completely after the Republican National Convention in Tampa — Obama led 48 percent to Romney’s 47 percent then.
