Phoenix Mayor Urges Trump To Wear Mask At Upcoming Event | Talking Points Memo

As President Trump prepares for an event in Phoenix, Arizona, amid a score of trips to launch his campaign for reelection, Phoenix Mayor Kate Gallego urged him to wear a mask before taking the podium in her city.

“Everyone attending tomorrow’s event, particularly any elected official, should set an example to residents by wearing a mask,” Mayor Kate Gallego wrote in a statement on Tuesday. “This includes the President.”

Phoenix can now completely forget about being paid for the costs of this campaign event.

When is the last time Donnie was in a church for worship, not a campaign rally?

I dunno. Does getting married in a church count?

I’m guessing the Mayor of Phoenix has about as much success as me trying to talk a toddler out of filling a diaper and for similar reasons.

Guaranteed no on that one.

I’m fine with him walking into this event with no PPE. Why should he be any different than the folks he subjected to exposure because he wouldn’t release the equipment to the States that didn’t treat him right?

Meanwhile, in Houston . . .

For the safety of All Americans, he should probably also wear a ball gag.

Has anyone tried reverse psychology on him?

A prominent democrat should “urge him” NOT to wear a mask.

It’s the only way he’d ever even think about it.

Have i mentioned that I wouldn’t care if he caught COVID-19. Wouldn’t mind it at all. It would be poetic justice.

Nice closed environment of a church, Covid-19 in attendance, bouncing around in the air when the shouting starts. Oh, look! Covid floating to the podium as Trump takes the stage . . . Sad.

Will Donnie John paraphrase Dan Akroyd, “Kate, you ignorant slut, don’t you know Hong Kung Flu isn’t a problem anymore?”

There is some probability, albeit small, that Trump could spend part of the campaign season in an ICU bed on oxygen. One of the weirdest effects of COVID-19 is that it can turn your mind to mush, making it impossible to focus, not that it would matter much in Trump’s case.

This makes it even more likely he’s being shot up with antibodies/serum. Thereby diverting from people who actually need same to survive.

I just issued the following statement:
“Everyone spending any time in the back yard today, particularly my dogs, should set an example to residents by not barking at the dogs next door. This includes the dogs who live with me.”
I’m sure it will work.

I was going to ask how you thought you could tell his mind has turned into oatmeal.

My beagle doesn’t bark at the dogs next door. He does bark at his food bowl before eating. Is that still okay?

But why? The air in the church will be cleaner than anywhere else in the city: https://talkingpointsmemo.com/news/church-hosting-trump-celebrates-air-filters-that-kill-99-9-of-covid-in-minutes
