How does delivery of 70 million doses by June 30, with the remaining 30 million no later than July 31, i.e. enough to vaccinate 50 million people, translate into "enough supply to vaccinate every American who wants it by June 2021”?

As the pandemic absolutely rages now, I personally know many people who have contracted this and several who have died. My wife’s best friend’s daughter is having an alarming hospital course in MI - she is 27, and though she is finally breathing better her blood work is strangely out of whack. She seems to be experiencing some of the less common but equally devastating effects of COVID that cause erratic blood clotting and have caused some people to have amputations. So far her limbs seem OK but she threw a large pulmonary clot which is slowly being dissolved by heavy duty anti-coagulation and time. No miracle monoclonal antibodies for her. She is just a nobody who has been working as a social worker in a group home for the last 9 months, actually living there to observe the best possible way to not bring in the virus from the outside. Definitely not a celebrity.
Thank God competent people are about to take over. Every delay in getting the vaccine out and administered will be reflected in a thousand more deaths of the non-celebrities among us.
Oh my god, I hope she gets better and has good care. I had a dangerous DVT during surgery, when I was 35. They literally pulled the clots out of me. It was horrible.
She’s not a nobody. I have tremendous respect for Social Workers, It is one of the hardest jobs I know to do well, and there’s no nearly enough support for them. Hell, she’s my hero for what she did for her residents in the home. She is precious, and deserves the best care in the world.
