Peter Strzok, the top FBI official who was fired for sending texts critical of President Trump, challenged that termination with a lawsuit filed Tuesday against Attorney General Bill Barr and FBI Director Chris Wray.
FBI agents are apparently not the rare breed I thought they were. About 1 in 18 applicants make it through the special agent intake these days. (updated on formerchild’s comment). Anybody good at sit-ups and mandated low cannaboid intake interested in signing up?
Good For Him
Push back at the Fascists
Every opportunity
Especially this .
Peter just subpoena all the anti Hillary texts from FBI agents
It was like you were the only one expressing an opinion.
I’ll bet the anti-Hillary was 2-1 compared to the Anti Trump
I figured he was just going to go away, and maybe he was…the continued attacks against him and the FBI must have made him want to get back at what was done to him. It sounds like a solid case, we’ll see if he gets a judge that is open to applying the law or a Trump judge that will try to throw it out in whatever way they can.
Pure intuition here, take it for the $0.00 you’ve paid for it:
This is going to come back on the Trumpistas. Because I don’t believe any of them will take a bullet for Donnie over Strzok, who scared the shit out of the congresscritters when he testified.
Discovery in this lawsuit is going to be a lot of fun. Hopefully Strzok’s lawyers have someone paying the bills… I am only sad that he did not sue Trump Personally for the firing, laying out that it was a political firing directed by Trump himself.
My guess is that Strzok wins, the facts for firing are weak to non-existent, and the politicized way in which it was done will get him to a Jury.
Probably closer to 100 to 1. FBI membership seems pretty conservative, and there was an active anti-Clinton faction that surely spewed lotsa hate-filled email exchanges.
All the stuff about Trump and the way he’s conducted his presidency and tried to shut down critical commentary is absolutely perfect. It’s not often that a Complaint filed in Federal Court contains such beautiful prose. And the screen shots of Trump tweets are a nice touch.
I’d say Mr. Strzok and his attorneys are making a statement … and I hope this initial statement is followed by more (haven’t heard such well-placed digs since Avenatti flamed out).
That’s my feeling as well. Gowdy looked like he was literally melting that day when Strzok got through with him. He’s as smart and tough as anyone you’ll ever meet and what you have here is nasty little monkeys poking a tiger with a stick and thinking they could get away with this stuff forever. We’ll see.
It’s disgusting the FBI let go one of its best Russia experts to appease Putin’s toddler. Get all the facts out there – especially the Trumpland e-mails.
