Worthwhile to pursue against any political appointee Trump tries to burrow into the civil service. There’s a good chance nearly every Trump political appointee has violated the Hatch Act at least once.

So…what? Do they get chastised? What happens? If we are waiting for ANYONE of these suckers to have ethics, morals or values it’ll be a loooooooonnnnng wait.

Navarro will be unemployed after the 20th of January. He will probably find a cushy gig in the Conservative welfare program.

Well when absolutely nothing happens to people who violate a law, shocker, they keep doing it. Once Biden’s DOJ does absolutely nothing about it, can we stop pretending it’s a real law?

Mark Dayton just got married to woman young enough to be his granddaughter:

He’s 73 and she’s 32. After twenty years of bachelorhood, he hit the jackpot. Her too in about 15 or twenty years. Five years ago, Dayton was worth 1.6 billion. Target stock was about 70 bucks back then. It’s now over 172 bucks. Best of luck to both of them, he really is a nice guy.

Hatch Act, Schmatch Act. It’s a dead letter.

Also, it’s fine for the entire cabinet to serve in an “acting” capacity.

I took a TPM break for quite a few days there…almost a week. I came back and looked for an article to post on…and here was this article about another Chumpfelon breaking more laws met by yawns and shrugs.

The reason I came back to post was to mention how long it had been in this hostage-standoff, and you an @garrybee were already on it, in the first two postings.

I used to follow the news and watch when there used to be resolution. OJ’s white Bronco ran out of gas, Branch Davidians burning to the ground, or they caught the serial killer, or the person nailed for xyz resigned or was arrested, The Super Bowl had a winner, etc. And we are going on 5 years now of this hostage-situation with no resolution.

No matter how inept, brazen, stoopid, or fugged up every single move from our Chumpanzee govt, it just keeps staggering. Like watching a hostage situation where the criminals fight, drink til they pass out, take poison, shoot each other, fall and break their faces open…OK NOW, the hostages will escape. Or the cops can move in. Or the judge bangs the gavel and declares there was a crime and they’ve been found guilty. But it never happens, just keeps going and going. There is no law, there is no limit. There is no answer.

Trump is incapable of feeling shame, and all his people are similarly afflicted.
They have to be in the cult, or have the Trump mental handicap. Otherwise I have no idea how they sleep at night.
