Another lame attempt at some sort of virtue signaling from Sinema as she joins he Trumpublicans and refuses to vote for the voting rights bill.
Democracy dies at the hands of two traitors with a D after their names - Manchin and Sinema.

Honestly, that was an old(er) article, but probably still close to accurate. This is a little more current, but I have to wonder if this is the face-eating tiger moment:

His suits disguise a lot. I would say he’s rather portly but hides it well.

Sigh. There’s nothing wrong with her lipstick or not covering her shoulders. It’s 2022, not 1950. The problem isn’t her appearance. It’s her inexplicable behavior and total soullessness. It’s the lies, the bullshit, the preening for the cameras. Her appearance is the very least of what’s wrong with her.

I don’t know other than they didn’t experience the effects of Jim Crow laws and segregation. Michael Steele might have a good answer.

That’s what fixer Michael Cohen says about the difference between Trump and DeSantis. Trump could be very charming and flattering in to people in person and disparage them behind their backs. DeSantis has no ability to charm anyone. He’s just a bully.

Yeah those Confederate Generals Robert E. Lee and Stonewall Jackson were certainly integral to the creation of the state of Arizona in the 1860’s when it became a territory.

We still have the House, the Presidency and the Senate…and if people discount that, imagine

  • House Speaker Kevin McCarthy
  • President Donald Trump
  • Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell

as the people we have to deal with. The Republicans, as corrupted and underhanded as they are, are good at working with what they have to give us the impression that we powerless in the face of a stronger opponent.

That’s what obstruction does…and it works too many times.

From the Library of Congress…

“Arizona, formerly part of the Territory of New Mexico, was organized as a separate territory on February 24, 1863 . The U.S. acquired the region under the terms of the 1848 Treaty of Guadalupe Hidalgo and the 1853 Gadsden Purchase. Arizona became the forty-eighth state in 1912.”

Hubby quit going to a gym years ago when all the TVs there had Fox News on. We walked out of a bbq restaurant when Fox was on.

Well, at least the headline was gentle. Generally we have different adjectives for politicians that favor white voting over those of others.

The dentist office I go to always has HGTV on. That’s probably about as non-confrontational as one can get.

Along with leaving an impression of sadistic glee when twisting the knife. To her, that’s what a six-year-term does.

And her looks and wardrobe are added in as props, in my opinion
