I have been wanting to buy a new home theater system - you know, 75" 4K LED-backlit UHD, 9-channel Dolby Atmos receiver, speakers and subwoofer, 4K Blu-ray player, etc. - but I was about $5000 short of the amount of money I would need to purchase it. But now, I can totally ignore looking at my bank balance and spend as much money as I want because not looking at my bank balance means I have more money in my account than Steve Mnuchinās super-secret bailout bagman fund.

Vice President Pence knows what reality is, he understands facts. It is my impression that he was selected as Vice President because he is willing to agree with anything the President says. Perhaps he does so knowing that this way of acting is/was his only way to (i) get out of Indiana and the mess he helped to create by his very conservative fiscal and economic plans that hurt many underserved citizens, and (ii) stay in power and ultimately hope to represent the far right pool of citizens in some future election. His āreligionā says its OK to lie and hurt people if it is for some good that he and his wife feel is important (for white privileged people), without regard to reality. The oath he took means nothing to him. He is just another corrupt, con man, who uses religious abuse to remain in power - or so he thinks.

Need to test and trace on an epic scale while being strong on protective social measures? Too much work? Then fire all overseers, defame your scientists, start slap fights with governors, and divert whatever supplies and funds to friendly statesā¦snubbing D populations wherever possible. Our local authorities stuck a knife in this one when our surge began a few weeks ago. they said (and keep saying) that the proportion of positives to people tested is whatās going up, not just the number of positives.

Itās all so easy to understand. Pence wonāt see the truth because his religious and ambition blinders keep him from doing so. Trumpās ego and self-centeredness keep him from confronting an inconvenient truth. But Mother Nature, the creator of COVID does not fool herself. She writes the rules and all must play by them. You canāt manage her like you would a political scandal. Really, you canāt manage her at all.
To beat COVID or at least minimize it you must listen to the experts and do exactly what they say. Thatās not something Trump or Pence are capable of. To them itās a surrender an admission of inferiority. So many dead that did not have to be. And these assholes just see it as a political problem.
Which Governors are going to be putting this argument out to their local newspapers? It is fān moron normal for Fat Donnie, and Pence is just back in his capacity as fart catcher. But to pretend there is no C-19 as the pandemic continues to grow through the first wave is pushing even Republican Reality ā¢ right off the edge of their flat Earth.

The Director of the National Park Service Police and the Director of the US Secret Service lied about what happened in Lafayette Square, particularly their agencies use of chemical weapons on American citizens. The Director of the FBI has claimed that a non-existent āanti-faā is behind the demonstrations, when even his own agency says thereās absolutely no truth in that. Now the Vice President of the United States of America is distorting and lying about the spread of a deadly disease.
Trump has lied some 20,000 times according to the Washington Post fact checkers. Lying has spread like a pandemic in his administration. The shame that the Secret Service, the FBI, and the National Parks Directors have now brought on their agencies is another form of disease. This disease doesnāt kill people, but it does inestimable damage to our nation, possibly leading to the death of democracy.
The FBIās Christopher Wray and the other directors and the Vice President owe the people of the United States an apology for their destructive lies.
