Perhaps, but not typical pattern for Trump to call in Pence for any kind of consultation.
Maybe someone from the cabinet decided to call Pence in to talk Trump down from something crazy.
Or health crisis…just speculating.

Maybe Donnie traded Q-Tip to North Korea for a lickspittle to be named later?
If Melania did finally poison his tea, does she get the Congressional Gold Medal, the Presidential Medal of Freedom, or do we give her an honorary commission in the military so she’s eligible for the Medal of Honor?
(See, @zillacop, now you’ve got my mind racing… Heck, this would be the biggest turnout EVER for 4th of July, starting two days early and running through the weekend, easily)
I’d even agree to tanks for a State Funeral…
I doubt Melania would off him now, especially since she’s probably thinking she may finally be free in a little less than a year and a half…
Ha, ha . . . Me too as it would be worth the cost of repairing all of the DC roads to have Trump gone.
Maybe Pence will drop from the plane onto the White House lawn.
Oh we will
Someone in that Swiss cheese administration won’t be able to resist blabbing
I’m not getting my hopes (or fears) up. This whole 4th of July thing feels so slapdash and last-minute, that Trump probably just didn’t want Pence out of DC. He needs Pence to coordinate the Bible-humping part of the show.
“The White House did not immediately respond to inquiries, including about Trump’s health.”
Don’t get our damn hopes up TPM.
Trump finally launches the long promised infrastructure week.
Or to the Lakers or Knicks. Just as bad a fate.
Someone slipped in a veggie burger and he’s choking.
Although , why would anyone call the useless twit Mike Pence about anything . It is difficult to imagine a scenario
Maybe there was only one scoop of ice cream left, and major administration problem that only Pence can solve. More ice cream.
“Something came up that required the VP to remain in Washington, DC. It’s no cause for alarm. He looks forward to rescheduling the trip to New Hampshire very soon,” Alyssa Farah wrote in a tweet.
A senior White House official said the reason for Pence’s return to the White House “is not health related for the VP or President” and is not “related to national security.”
From CNN… So given past history with the WH, we can conclude that it is something alarming, that it is health-related, and that there is a link to national security.
Where are all the White House leakers when you need them?
Since everything that comes out of the Trump administration is a nonstop stream of lies, I believe I’ll take MSNBC’s word.
I’m guessing that’s what happened. Trump’s imaginary 4th of July coronation isn’t going well because it wasn’t properly planned. Maybe Trump screamed, “Get Pence to fix that” and, when someone remarked that Mikey wasn’t there, Trump had a real melt down. I have to believe that there are some individuals around Trump who fear what their irrational leader could do and try to placate him at all costs.
Come on Kellyanne, we’re counting on you to at least have told your husband, then…
