On Wednesday morning, Vice President Mike Pence slammed House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) for tearing up her copy of President Donald Trump’s State of the Union speech the night before.
Nancy was speaking for all of us. They shred the Constitution. They shred all political norms that govern how the president is supposed to behave, and that keep our government in balance. And now we’re supposed to be polite? She shred a speech full of lies. Truth to power, snowflake. We’re aren’t in Missouri anymore!
No, sir. The media will make hay over this all day today until the vote comes later today to acquit someone of the charges they admit were true, but it’s ok because he is the President.
This is the day that will live in infamy: the day the Constitution was rendered invalid on the topic of impeachment for the foreseeable future, if not forever. The Senators have already indicated how they will vote.
Yeah, but consider this: He couldn’t even speak the threat properly. I’m guessing he meant it would not seat a future Dem SOTH. He thinks or portends that the GOP will take back the House on her actions.
It’s as much IF we do our jobs as will we be ALLOWED to do our jobs.
Don’t put it past the GOP that they would invalidate the election and throw it out if it didn’t suit them. Don’t put it past them. This is one time I think they could try to do it and would make it stick.
ETA: I mean, there’s an impeachment trial about to end. Twenty years ago, could you imagine a Senate so craven?
