During a call with House Democrats on Wednesday, House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) lamented to her colleagues that President Trump is “almost not worth” impeaching.

NPR aired an interview this morning with former NPR correspondent and author Sarah Chayes. Her recent book, Thieves of State, examines corruption’s debilitating legacy if left to go unchecked. This examination was applied both to tRump and to other political figures. A synopsis of the book can be read here.
So, yes, pursuing impeachment is worth it. And there are few presidents in modern history who deserve impeachment and removal from the office more than tRump. One should proceed with diligence and care while building a solid case.
As above have said: he’ll be utterly unable to resist. At this point, almost anybody except victims of PDS has to conclude that this is intentional, directed, and strategic–and that she believes she can drive him to even greater distraction and toxicity.

given the utter ineptitude of Pelosi’s handling of impeachment, anyone who thinks this is part of some grand strategy has paid zero attention to what has been going on.
here’s a hint – as predicted by impeachment advocates, the moment Pelosi was finally forced to admit that Trump had to be impeached, all her fan, followers, and sycophants suddenly changed their minds on the subject as well. Its total hive-mind…incapable of critical thinking.
And, Nancy, your revolting timidity about impeaching this monster makes you “almost not worth” being Speaker of the House. So, do your friggin’ job and stop grand-standing as the nation burns to the ground.
