“We should have them here as long as they are needed,” Pelosi told reporters at her weekly press briefing, noting that the decision was ultimately up to the Capitol Police.
I agree, of course, but with one obvious caveat: it would be wrong to leave the decision “ultimately up to the Capitol Police” if said force is not provided with all necessary resources.
Where are the crowds of people gathering at the Capitol for Donald’s inauguration!?!? In fact, where is Donald? Isn’t he in DC for his coronation as preznit?

“We should have them here as long as they are needed,” Pelosi told reporters at her weekly press briefing.
Sub-text: Needed until right-wing media, the GOP and Trump stop inciting Trump supporter’s into threating to attack Congress and Congressional employees.
I’m not surprised by this at all. Both groups have an “all in, I’m right you are wrong” thought process of fanatics. They should tout it as “new and improved Q-Anon, now with more rapture”.
