I have no comment on that subject, having been informed that it’s just a typo and I should let it go and move on. Raised as I was by wolves in a cave, I never learned to have a sense of proportion, so I’m taking this generously offered advice to heart.

They stopped acting in anything near to good faith on 1/20/2009 at about noon. An hour earlier, though, they only pretended to.
That’s what I thought you meant!
You’re quite generous.
Apparently the actual book cover shows:
“A biography”
It’s shown somewhere up thread
I’m not allowed to talk about it any more.
I’m not allowed to talk about it any more.
Discobot is rude and mean.
Mob bosses study ol’ Moscow for professional enrichment.
Majorie Taylor Greene […] serves on no committees and contributes nothing of value in her role as Congresswoman, while continually spitting out lies, elevating junk science, and contributing anti-Semitic tropes to the public discourse.
All true – which is why some Georgia Republicans are fighting to keep her as the representative of their county.
Discobot is rude and mean.
We can clear discobot of any involvement. Don’t even have to take it down to headquarters for questioning.
I was lucky enough to see Haley in university.
Alex Haley retired here in Knoxville, and was a charming and erudite man. The book was a collaboration between Haley and Malcolm X, based on extensive interviews.
I doubt AOC would lower herself to do it…,
I hope she does!
I bought stock in popcorn! AOC will pop MTG in a jiffy!
I learned a lot from all off you gals and guys. More then I have from TPM articles.
(sigh)
Yeah, AOC is more than qualified, but is Greene? Maybe my tax dollars can be better spent.
I think you misspelled Empty Greene, matt.
Heh. Good one. Don’t know where I was getting MJT from. Some sort of synaptic pathway entanglement. More coffee stat.
I think she’d shoot herself in the foot in pretty much any scenario.
Given that her foot is usually in her mouth, that requires a feat of acrobatics not seen since Ringling Bros. abandoned the big top.
They did the majority of the heavy lifting. Bench work, wrangling samples, assays, weekly lab meetings. Everything was a group effort.
Speaking of that:
For the first time, scientists have created embryos that are a mix of human and monkey cells. […]
“My first question is: Why?” says Kirstin Matthews, afellow for science and technology at Rice University’s Baker Institute. “I think the public is going to be concerned, and I am as well, that we’re just kind of pushing forward with science without having a proper conversation about what we should or should not do.”
And from the original article:
Interspecies chimera formation with human pluripotent stem cells (hPSCs) represents a necessary alternative to evaluate hPSC pluripotency in vivo and might constitute a promising strategy for various regenerative medicine applications, including the generation of organs and tissues for transplantation.
I so want to be a campaign consultant to her challenger in 2022. I’d probably be on the losing side (it being Georgia, and rural Georgia at that), but I’d have a ton of fun writing stuff.
