President Donald Trump tweeted out a picture from his disastrous meeting with Democratic leadership Wednesday, intending to show “nervous Nancy” Pelosi losing control during their conversation.
Trump’s antics.
I like that.
I’d prefer “deadly-dull buffoonery” but “antics” is a step in the right direction.
I had to smile at the three gentlemen at the top of the table on Trump’s side. Every line of their body language screams “oh man, I want no part of what just happened”
It’s not the first time in recent days that Trump seriously miscalculated his PR moves.
It would be easier to count the PR moves that didn’t backfire.
It turns out Trump is rather stupid. The only thing keeping him in office is his congressional sycophants are weak cowards.
Yep. She looks large and in charge, and they all appear to be little school boys taken to task.
That is a great picture of Speaker Pelosi.
Not only does the picture speak to the absence of women in the room, it also speaks to the absence of people of color in the room.
The finger pointed at his gob is epic.
I understand the warnings not to underestimate him. But it’s not so much that people who say that are wrong as much as the challenge of it. There’s such a narrow margin between the abysmal lowness of an accurate estimation and a person in a vegetative state that it’s extremely hard to gauge where underestimation begins.
That’s partly the fault of the Democrats (one side of that table in the photograph).
Of course, Elijah Cummings would have been there if not for his serious medical condition.
He was unable to vote on the House resolution yesterday, either – the one in which 129 Republicans joined Democrats to condemn Trump’s disastrous moves in Syria.

He reads everything through his own narcissism. It’s the same weakness that he can’t see how bad it looks for him to rant and lie about his political rivals and petty grievances while sitting next to world leaders who are cringing at his crassness.
One thing I noticed about this story - it links to tRumps twitter but not Madame Speaker’s.
It should at least link to both or to neither.
