I said that the if people were concerned with Trump being able to say he was “exonerated”, that the articles of impeachment could be passed, but not conveyed to the Senate. I said this after reading the Senate rules, and then researching how bills are conveyed to the Senate – actually reading the proceeding of the first days of House and Senate of the very first congress, who had to wrestle with these kinds of questions.

I noticed that too when I saw a clip of the rally tonight. His face seemed more reddish.
But I though maybe that story his Maralago maids told about the Orange Bronze makeup (or whatever color it was called) caused him to rethink the makeup color so he was test driving a new tone.

This is how to create leverage on Moscow Mitch. Don’t send it over. Let Trump not be acquitted by his Senate lackeys.
The next step is for Pelosi and Schiff to convene additional hearings on more impeachable offenses to add to the bill of particulars. Add in the obstruction counts from Mueller. Add in violations of the emoluments clause. Add in the illegal Stormey Daniels payoff.
Moscow Mitch and Trump can wait and rot.

It’s the little things…like having the head of the Senate, and the head of the Senate Judiciary Committee both publicly stating that they are going to rig
the trial, which should bring a myriad of interesting discussions to Holiday tables
across the land.

I’m not a lawyer, but I imagine if there’s a disagreement between the House and the Senate as to the timing of the Senate trial, it would be adjudicated by the Federal courts. Even if they take it up expeditiously, probably would take a few weeks at minimum to resolve. Finally, using the courts as a stalling technique would work in our favor.
