House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) increasingly lost her patience during a tense interview with CNN’s Wolf Blitzer on Tuesday as he grilled her on stalled COVID-19 relief talks, following President Trump’s abrupt move to call off negotiations last week.
“What I say to you is I don’t know if you’re always an apologist — and many of your colleagues — for the Republican position,”
Transl: “Fuck you, you posturing AIPAC asshole, there’s about to be a new sheriff in town.”
Finally a Democrat calls one of these assholes out. Why are the Democrats always supposed to be the “reasonable” ones? (Where reasonable = doormat that takes whatever crumbs the Republicans offer)

Good on Pelosi, Blitzer’s relevancy passed 25+ years ago, since then he’s been given the benefit of the doubt because he was one of the early (or earliest) faces of 24/7 news. The only thing he’s been consistent on other than his conservative stance towards journalism is his shallow opinions.

This may be an unpopular view here, but I don’t think Nancy explained her position well. You’ve got to give stronger explanation that’s easily understood for why you won’t take drumpf’s offer. Of course there are major things the WH offer will drop, so call them out clearly. All I heard was holding out for child care support.
