Paul Ryan Says He Will Not Attend RNC In 2024 If Trump Is The Nominee

“It depends on who the nominee is,” Ryan told Milwaukee ABC affiliate WISN-TV on Saturday. “I’ll be here if it’s someone not named Trump.”

Ryan also made clear he would not endorse Trump, who he earlier this year described as a “proven loser.”

Anybody but Trump,” he told WISN.

Well, that concludes his negotiations for the VP slot.

Wow what a profile of courage—NOT.

Omg. This is devastating news! Completely scrambles the GOP nomination process. Will Ryan reluctantly agree to the accept the nomination by acclamation?

It was interesting watching Ronna McDaniel on CNN yesterday talking about forcing anyone who wants to be on the GOP debate stage having to sign a “I will support whoever the candidate is” pledge.
She used herself as an example saying that despite the bad blood between the two men, she supported both Mitt Romney and Donald Trump. Ok Ronna “no longer Romney” McDaniel, point well made. Idiot.

“proven loser.” Those two words are his entire statement.

He doesn’t care that Trump is a lying bastard. He doesn’t care that Trump is a serial wife cheater. He doesn’t care that Trump is a criminal. He doesn’t care that Trump tried a 3rd world coup. He ONLY cares that Trump might not win.

Republicans elect their dog catcher? That’s news to me. Is this because dogs run from Republicans in mortal fear? Or is it that Republicans catch dogs for perverse purposes?

Oh, and yes, I’m asking for a friend.

I didn’t realize that Paul Ryan is still a thing in the GQP. I kinda thought they made it clear he had little to no standing in the party.

But his statement is representative of most of the party. I don’t want TFG as the candidate but. if he is, I’ll support him. What a pantload.

Hold on, hasn’t that never been turned to forever for some Republicans before?

So, not holding my breath.

A bribe might work.

I kinda hope that TFG is the GQP nominee. It won’t be much of a battle at the polls, although the media will constantly portray it as a horserace.

This will be a redux of 2020. Maybe this scenario puts an end to Trumpism once and for all.

We can dream, can’t we?

Of course, we run the risk of another insurrection at the Capitol. He’ll probably lose worse than he did in 2020, but it won’t stop him from demanding the chair in the Oval Office.
