Trump is sounding more-and-more like a demented malicious Grandpa Simpson.

Is wrong that I’m rubbing my hands in gleeful anticipation that Trump may totally lose it before 11/03/2020? And then see the headlines “Republicans In Disaray”, “Republicans Scramble to Replace Trump on Ticket”, and from the left leaning “We Told You So”.

The purges begin. If he is re-elected, expect the worse for it surely will happen.

He’ll still be doing this vague imitation of an over-the-hill Vegas lounge comedian from 1971 when he’s in a nursing home and doesn’t remember his own name. How about that airplane, food, amirite? Give yourselves a big hand, you’ve been great!

When it may be our only hope? No, you’re not wrong. Very far from wrong.

“Can we get ‘Gone With the Wind’ back, please?”

Not the movie, but rather, the historical period depicted in the first act.

Trump waxed nostalgic for the 1939 film “Gone With the Wind,” which is infamous for its racist portrayal of the Civil War-era American South.

Trump’s probable approval of Birth of a Nation as a good movie was also trending after his rant.

" “Understandable, he can’t read,” the distributor tweeted" OUCH !

In rap music this would be called The Hook.

" When Donald Trump was elected president, it quickly became obvious that the traditional national-security briefing a person in his position receives daily would be well beyond his zone of proximal development. The briefings were slimmed down in length, chopped up into easy-to-digest bullet points, and decorated with lots of graphs and pictures. Alas, the Washington Post reports, even the kiddie version of the presidential brief has proven too challenging. Now, Trump gets his briefing verbally."

His grandpa was in the audience, I’m sure, but I doubt Trump has ever heard of or paid attention to a film mostly known for historical reasons. I was a little surprised he’s familiar with “Sunset Boulevard.” He’s pretty close to being ready for his closeup himself.

Also opens with “My mother-in-law” and closes with women drivers.

I think it’s the romantic in him that plays the film’s theme in his head
…“And by your touch,
I found true love…”

If we get through this period without nuclear Armageddon, I may have to start believing in Divine Providence.

“My mother-in-law is like most women, she wouldn’t care if her husband were shot. Hahahahahahaha ain’t I a barrel of laughs, not like a normal president who’s a stiff, let’s face it.”

One can only imagine that Susan Collins’ “concern” has ratcheted up mildly…

The Trump family would be perfectly cast in an English language version of the film.

You can’t get more parasite-y than a Trump.

Repubs will still vote for him, just like they voted for Reagan’s second term when he was clearly suffering from dementia. And folks still don’t talk about it,lol. Trump’s demented rantings mean nothing to Repubs. If anything Trump’s dementia is probably a plus because they figure they can let him sit on the toilet and tweet while they rape the country.

What, you don’t think Melania or any of his kids will take care of him in his advanced stages of dementia next year?
