Love the last quote. Thats exactly the heart of the matter…the GOP doesn’t care about killing people. Its all about the Benjamins.

Gee, the Repubs have tried to suggest that they are Christians and pro-life, when in fact they worship at the altar of the almighty dollar.

This is all being politically orchestrated. GOP is creating political protests all to support Trump Re-opening the nation.

They are targeting states with Dem governors.

All likely funded by Koch Bro’s & GOP pacs.

The wealthy needs the wage slaves back at work to maintain their wealth. It’s amazing how much finance is topping American lives all to Re-elect Trump.

Republicans can quickly organize and are always loud and angry. Democratic voters appear passive and unorganized.

I guess soon we’ll have Republican and Democratic economies, like everything else. At some point, we’re going to have to give up the idea that the Civil War ended, and let the red states secede. Then we can have one country with a raging pandemic and a GDP curve that looks just like COVID-19’s, and another where people, you know, stay alive.

There are going to being increasing levels of chafing as to the differences between the mandates and advice from State vs Federal authorities and politicians. Civil disobedience will be followed by violence and rioting in some places. Trump will egg on all of it.

Like those protests weren’t staged. Like Fox and Trump haven’t riled those people up.

So they want to devolve authority on this issue to the county level. Question: do counties in PA have control over environmental and zoning laws affecting CAFOs and other industrial ag operations, or are they like the state I live in where the (Republican-held) state government has usurped that power and prevents counties from instituting stricter regulations?

Who could have given these Rethugnicons the idea to reopen biz very very soon?

What we need is to flatten the curve and…

Don’t kid yourself. The majority of Trump’s base would throw one round in the revolver and pull the COVID trigger, just on his urging.

Yes, killing more people is really going to jump-start the economy.

Trump’s base are not most Americans, Stevie. Last poll I saw had about 71% of the respondants in favor of keeping a lockdown until there is a vaccine or more testing.

If you believe in distancing and staying at home, a large demonstration is not a good look, is it?
