If rethugs wanna condemn the imaginary “racism” on the other side, they can initiate another resolution. That’s a weak excuse for not condemning Trump.

Trump can be beat. But he must be exposed. There are legal ways to do this. When this happens, if he does not resign, then the U.N. (or similar organ) MUST supervise the 2020 election with paper ballot backup, severe felony penalties for voter suppression and International Monitoring at ALL polling places.
And all this will take place AFTER the necessary publicizing of Trump and all of his misdeeds as a result of the above Oversight, Investigations and Hearings.

After vile and racist tweets/remarks from Trump aka Individual1, recent poll from Reuters/Ipsos show 5% increase in support of Trump amongst Republicans.
Maybe MSM and Non-Trump Voters would stop asking where is the bottom of the vileness, lawlessness & cruelty by Trump et al! By now, there should be no doubt what Trump Voters want!
Thus:
Trump acts with impunity because the Republican legislators aid/abet & 
The Republican legislators acts with impunity because Trump Voters demand it.
Majority of the Republicans/Trump Voters support the vile, racist, lawless criminally-inclined acts of Trump because it reflects who they are and what they aspire to be able to be and do - act like Trump to own the Libs, scapegoat the immigrants by demonizing them, get their judges or justices despite unfitness for office.
Thus:
Trump Voters willfully ignore or lie or justify to themselves that all of Trump’s vile, lawless criminally-inclined actions are worth supporting because it benefits them and their cause.
Truth be told:
Trump’s attack to immigrants are putting Americans, asylum seekers, and those daring to dream for a better life in danger…death threats, stochastic terrorism - MAGA Bomber, death during Charlottesville white supremacy rally…on and on.

Many people here have been claiming for weeks that Congress can’t do things quickly.
How long did it take to pass this Resolution? 3-Days?
Congress could hold Billy Barr and ALL the criminals ignoring Congressional Subpoenas in criminal contempt of Congress today if Pelosi would let them. They could start impeachment investigations today if Pelosi would let them.
They have the votes. They have the motions. They are deliberately slow-walking these investigations, and the speed in which they passed this toothless resolution proves it.
Pelosi is deliberately trying to run-out the clock to 2020, and she is enabling the on-going crimes of Trump and the Republicans by doing so.
“Congress can’t move fast” is no longer an excuse.
Now that’s good messaging!

The entire world heard him confess to the commission of sexual assaults against women, on tape, in his own voice. Confess to “Put a move on her” regarding another woman, while married. There are photos of him posing with a porn star and a men’s magazine model, some of them taken while his wife was pregnant with their child. Women paid to stay silent about the assignations, a fact also not in serious dispute.
How much damned exposure is required?

There are two items I would like to point out:

Oh, and speaking of the unsurprising racism in the Republican Party - The Party Of Lincoln!, BTW - I saw yesterday when Kellyanne Conway asked an American Jewish reporter what ethnicity he was, which, despite what your political leanings are, could never, ever in a million years be misconstrued as either racist or anti-Semitic, especially the latter, since everyone knows that only members of the Democrat Party are anti-Semitic, because they are controlled by anti-Semitic puppet-master and Holocaust survivor George Soros.
If I ever had the chance to stand before Kellyanne Conway, I had hoped I might be able to tell her to “go back to where you came from”, like her Fat Ass master told the four Democrat Party congress-traitors, but I thumbed through a quite reputable world atlas, and I cannot for the life of me find any country called “Skankland”.

My comments does not in anyway illustrate knee jerk pessimism.
My comments are intended to call a spade a spade and for the Press and Non-Trump voters to be forearmed going forward to in the 2020 elections - not to expect any decency, honestly or defections amongst Republicans/Trump voters despite Trump’s cruelty, vileness, and unfitness for office.
2020 election will NOT just be a referendum on Trump or a political party.
2020 elections will be a referendum of who we are as a nation & as Americans:
Are we really turning into a vile, racist, corrupt, lawless criminally-inclined Americans or country?
OR
Do we stand for the rule of law embodied in the USC, for being a nation of immigrants, a republic practicing democracy, liberty, justice and equality?
