House Republicans are expected to schedule a floor vote this week to officially authorize their wild goose chase of an impeachment inquiry into President Joe Biden. It could happen as early as Wednesday, The Messenger reports.
That impeachment hearing is going to be even more fun if any of the motions to dismiss Hunter Biden’s case hold up. Indeed, one motion is particularly fun for the clown show, “selective and vindictive prosecution”:
Not your fault - every state has someone willing to sell their soul for a glimpse of power.
The good news is that your state is sane enough to not often put such people in power (a Dean Phillips will still slip through every once and awhile).
Though, I do hope we learn which RWNJ billionaires and millionaires are funding his ratf*cking campaign. I’d like to know the going rate for a Democrat to sell his soul.
Apparently, being elected President as a Democrat is an invitation for the opposition to troll through the executives family and past connections on a fishing expedition for support for imagined allegations.
I’m not so sure Rep. Phillips really wants to sign up for that.
If anyone thought Dean Phillips had a shred of integrity they’ve been disabused of that notion. If he thinks he can gain votes by highlighting his low character he’s in the wrong political party.
they interviewed him recently on Pod Save America. They were respectful to him but asked legitimate and pointed questions, which he of course didn’t want to answer. He was argumentative, and spouted off a lot of annoying vague slogan-y type stuff but just came across sounding like a huge prick.
Unfortunately, that’s the kind of stuff that works on people who don’t pay attention to politics, and are swayed by ad copy but don’t care that there’s no substance beneath it. But I’m hoping this guy will be a footnote soon, he’s got the same winning personality that has Vivek crashing and burning.
I listened to the same interview since I listen to Pod Save America every week. He sounded rather anodyne and would be a somewhat plausible middle of the pack candidate if Biden wasn’t running.
yeah, I felt like he was trying for that. And some parts he managed it, but overall he just seemed, like too smarmy. And he was taking offense at their questions instead of just answering them. They actually did a good job of being fairly patient with him, but it seemed to me like they had to repeatedly say things like, “look, just try to persuade us, we’re asking questions because we want to hear what you have to say” to even get him to give an answer because he was just acting like every question was an attack. I felt like I needed a shower after I listened to it.
