I think that’s a different business. This is in their code of conduct:

I think we’re starting to have a problem with copycats who are being paid by righties to deliver the MSM really bad, negative, offensive footage to undermine the truer, honest protesters who actually know the difference between a righteous protest and completely nonsensical, offensive idiocy and understand the time and place for it and the methods that should be used.

NY Times reviewed the security footage - it shows the three women arriving, showing their vax cards and being seated. Three guys showed later and went to join them. Only one showed his status. After that is when it went south.
This comment from the group was a real eye opener though:

Yep…am aware of that. They sat, a couple guys got refused for not having their shit in order and the women went ballistic. Sure, after they attacked, the hostess fought back, but I’m not buying the claim that she “started it” by deciding to throw out an n-bomb. The staff there that shows up in the security footage is mostly POC. And even if that WAS the case, assault isn’t the answer, you still get arrested and prosecuted and you still get convicted. There’s no such thing as the “they called me a _____” defense. The exaggerated story the assailants and their lawyer, Moore, are telling just doesn’t make any fucking sense and was clearly designed as a call to community to send in the clowns.
Moreover, the BLM nonsense about the vax requirement being an excuse not to seat black people is entirely belied by what happened. The first 6 people in the party, who came to the restaurant and showed proper ID and vax status, were seated inside and about to be served, so there’s no suggestion at all of this being used to refuse service to black people. That’s just a pretense for “protest.” And it’s not even protest. Other video shows it’s nothing but belligerent tantrum throwing trying to block public access to the restaurant and hurt their business, and there’s video of one dude running around in a balaclava dropping homophobic slurs at a Guardian Angel standing nearby quietly observing (and yeah, whatever you think of those GA dudes, that homophobic and in-your-face belligerence shit just isn’t justified).
It’s bullshit. Complete bullshit…and counterproductive bullshit at that, which is what irritates me the most about it. BLM needs some good, high-quality leadership or it just needs to fucking end.

Kind of hard to say it was a “mutual attack”. Sad situation all around - and it seems this BLM of NY has some real animus at the restaurant industry.
Footage from inside the hallway shows the hostess brushing past the women as she exits, at which point the women appear to do a double take before pursuing her out the door. It is not clear what occurred in that moment or what might have motivated them to follow her.
Footage from outside the restaurant shows the hostess coming out. Seconds later, one of the patrons, who is wearing glasses, goes up to her from behind, speaks into her ear before shoving her and pulling at her collar. The hostess pushes back and claws back while others try to break them apart.
