Omar Flays Trump: ‘I Believe He Is Fascist’

Rep. Ilhan Omar (D-MN) slammed President Donald Trump on Thursday, calling him a “fascist” in wake of his rally attendees chanting “send her back” while Trump ranted about the Muslim congresswoman’s so-called “anti-Semitism.”

“Though Trump claimed on Thursday that he ‘was not happy’ with the chants and that he tried to stop the chants by ‘speaking very quickly,’ in reality the President stood silently and let the chants continue…”

Trump has removed all shades of gray. If you support him, you’re a racist. Full stop.

No excuses. You vote for him, you’re a racist. No need to wring our hands. There were no good Nazis and Trump has reduced his base to the deplorables. If you are in the GOP and not speaking out, you’re no better than he his.

As far as this set of responses go, list me as “Team Squad.”

These are absolutely pitch-perfect, and she is the right person to be giving them (junior, not aligned with leadership, WOC, Muslim, and from a safe district).

Don’t @ me.

IL Douche-bag really does remind me of IL Duce.
Plus his silence was deafening during the chant.

That depiction is priceless.

And worth it!

Omar told reporters. “I believe he is fascist.”

This is the kind of strong voice and stalwart courage we need in these bleak times.

I can begrudgingly understand why some people voted for Shithead in 2016 but anyone - anyone - who still supports this racist, fascist pig-eyed sack of shit is dead to me. Let them lose their healthcare, let their industries leave and decimate their communities, let them lose their farms, let them live with pollution and climate crisis, let them and their children die from drug addiction. They wanted this racist piece of shit, they deserve what comes their way.

At least we can now retire the WWC “economic anxiety” excuse and call them what they are - racists who are willing to lose everything to own the libs.

I think this is pretty funny because Rep. Omar is demonstrating a fundamental, namely you don’t back down from a bully.

EVER.

Better yet, with all of his bluster this right here has him nervous and his backers outraged.

The Trumpholes might be enraged but remember, it’s HELPLESS rage.

Whiny has just gotten a great big dose of how well his re-election strategy will be received. Even better, he’s blown it out of the water and he has nothing to blame but his own big fat mouth. (laugh laugh laugh laugh laugh laugh)

Also in the Senate minority leader’s office, if we want to take the majority.

Of course Trump doesn’t recognize himeself as fascist because he doesn’t know shit about history and has no clue what the word means nor anything about those fascist leaders. He just knows he gets “a tingle” when he thinks about Vlad and Li’l Kim.

I am making a contribution to all 4 of them. The more Trump vilifies them, the more I will contribute.

I’ll add to that by saying anyone who can’t say how wrong and un-American this is without some sort of mendacious false-equivalence is also a coward and unfit for public office. There is literally no excuse for Trump’s evil statements and actions. Nothing that can justify his deeds.

Trump IS a fascist. Unfortunately, she is not the one to be saying it.

Not only will her saying it confirm that he is right in the minds of Trump’s supporters, but it demonstrates that he got to her. Far better for her to respond with ridicule and a smile.

Preach, young lady. Preach! This year is the 150th anniversary of Gandhi’s birth. It’s about time speaking truth unabashedly to power came back into vogue.

Most of the people I know who voted for Cheetolini rationalized their vote for the first two years by claiming he was “doing what he promised” and “he’s a businessman so don’t judge him like a politician”.
Now they just hang their heads in silence when I bring up the latest outrage of his making and try to change the subject.
I suspect at least 50% of them will still find some rationalization (probably racist) for voting for him in 2020, but no more than that. Bigotry is a strong incentive in the voting booth, and Cheetolini will do all he can to stoke it.
The Evangelicals in the group are the only ones still defending him, which they do by claiming “God sent him to save America”. Morons.

And it’s further proof of how our national strength is bolstered by the contributions of immigrants.
