Rep. Ilhan Omar (D-MN) hit back at President Donald Trump following his racist attack on her Somali roots at his Pennsylvania campaign rally Tuesday night.
Easy answer to Omar’s question. She is EVERYTHING he is against, and by opposing her he signals all the like minded in this country (of which there are WAY too many)

The idea that a woman, and a woman of color at that, is “telling us how to run our country” must be terrifying to his audience.
Omar, noting that she fled civil war as an 8-year-old replied: “An 8-year-old doesn’t run a country even though you run our country like one.”

I’ve seen snarky posts suggesting that Mr. Trump might do something like don a white robe and a hood at a rally. I’m not sure such posts can even be considered snark anymore.
And should we maybe mention the question of gender and probable misogyny? 
The idea that a member of congress might have something to say about how the country is run, that’s a bridge too far for an aspiring dictator. Not to mention the racism, sexism, and xenophobia.
For Trump it doesn’t seem to matter that Omar is a U.S. citizen who was naturalized after fleeing war-torn Somalia as a child. Instead he has continued to use Omar as a target to ignite his base using a playbook that thrives on culture wars.
Instead of “thrives on culture wars” why don’t you just tell the truth, his playbook thrives on white supremacy and race baiting because he is a stone cold racist.
History is replete with people that cause our species to question how a benevolent God could have seen fit to bestow them upon us. Trump is eminently qualified to be one of those people.
She’s black, and from one of those you-know-what countries.
Omar can also be used as a convenient target for accusations of anti-Semitism.
To be honest, those attacks come from both sides of the aisle.

Omar is the perfect storm of everything Trump hates: Female, black, muslim, smart, independent, upright, not a whore.
Damn, she’s not far behind AOC in clap-back skillz, and that’s high praise indeed.
Also, a little jealousy as she has been successful whereas he is a failure/loser with 6 bankruptcies and he has also been bankrupt as a President.
Trump hates colored people and he gets off on kicking them down.
And that’s why Republicans worship him. They live to hate colored people and queers and enjoy when their Anointed Godly King kicks them down. They get off on it. It’s what they live for.
All Fascists need an “Enemy” to focus their cult-member’s hatred upon.
Trump picks one that checks off four “Hatred” boxes at once;
That gives license to the slavering mob to project their own inadequacies upon Omar in a frenzy of Mob Rule that, in the past, would have resulted in her being “Lynched” by these Good Christian Americans, to the cheers of the mob.
Trump is working hard to create another “Tulsa 1921” race-riot to use at his “Reichstag Fire” so he can declare Martial Law and cancel the election.
It’s all he’s got left, so he WILL do it if he can. I give him 3 weeks before he starts using the word “Ni(CLANG!)er” in his speeches while doing his best to foment “Rwanda” style “Neighbor on Neighbor” killings.
