Ohioans handily rejected Republican lawmakers’ attempt to make it much more difficult for citizens to amend the state constitution Tuesday, an effort that was aimed squarely at undermining an upcoming proposal to codify abortion protections.
Gives me hope that a majority of voters see through the GOP bullshit leading to a record turnout in 2024.

With about 36 percent of votes counted Tuesday night, nearly 62 percent voted against the proposal, while nearly 39 supported it. The Associated Press projected the measure would fail.
With the media’s obsession for covering everything Orange a-hole says or does, this really effed up, underhanded, shitty ploy by the Republicans went largely unreported.
Our news mechanism is irreparably broken.
Yikes that’s a big margin. The anti-choice people have got to know they’re likely to lose in November.
So, so much work ahead of us. But one more step on the road to rolling the barbarians back.
My college student daughter had to have sent a couple hundred letters out through Vote Forward. For symbolic reasons I wanted it to go down 60-40 but we’re celebrating the W. Another Gen Z voter fully engaged!
