California Gov. Gavin Newsom (D), California State Attorney General Rob Bonta and Texas Sheriff Javier Salazar sent a letter to the Department of Justice on Thursday calling for an investigation into the Florida program responsible for transporting migrants to several Democratic-led cities.
Is it too much to hope Ron! will join his party’s leader as ‘under indictment?’
My concern is that like with Trump, indictment will cause DeSantis Republican primary poll numbers to rise.
That is the competition for the Republican nomination is about who is the meanest most cruel to the least fortunate and an indictment for being mean and cruel to the less fortunate could be exactly what DeSantis needs to challenge Trump.
It’s all good with me.
I retain faith that the majority will not elect an indicted, let alone a convicted, candidate.
The reactionary electorate should be ashamed to vote for these bozos; but, really, they aren’t.
So, instead, I will hope their choice gets a Goldwater-level shellacking and sends their voters back into darkened corners and to the underside of the rug.
Biden beat Trump, and Trump is beating DeSantis, so if DeSantis is the nominee, then Biden will beat DeSantis.
