Said on another thread 2 days ago that I first saw footage from the public mounted camera where they got him out of the car (2 others in the car with him) handcuffed him walked him to a building and sat him on the side walk for a bit. Then got him up and started walking him across the street, one cop car left. Couldn’t figure out what happened between that and him lying on the ground next to the car.

Haven’t heard him refer to the protesters as anything but thugs so far.

Joe is giving a very strong speech.

The contrast speaks volumes.

Was he wearing his hat when he was arrested?

Its beyond negligent. They all showed near equal depraved indifference.

I am NOT a lawyer.

Frankly, I would NOT have been too surprised if a hole magically appeared in the kneeler’s forehead while the murder he was committing was ongoing. Everyone has a right to life. Protecting a life during an ongoing murder attempt is support for justifiable homicide. Showing that charges of murder are incorrect and that justifiable homicide of a policeman performing criminal acts under the color of law is one hell of a burden in today’s system of justice.

What we saw with those four cops was lawlessness. The justice system cannot expect a lawful society to function properly while there are lawless police committing murder. Now if only there was a way for the general public to incapacitate a lawless police officer without harm. There are consequences for actions, and often times the consequences are swift and the courts glacially slow at correcting them.

“Trump is due in the Rose Garden at 2PM to spew something”
… …
I am sure it will be about his victimhood one way or another. Right now he is sitting on a petard that is real close to blowing. And he has no idea how to lead. He wiil spew about twitter or George Floyd or maybe both. But I bet he will belittle the pandemic and how our country has cratered under him.
I think the best thing he could say is “I am resigning today”.
Edit
Corrected my spelling

Joe Biden just did something extraordinary, authentic and Presidential. Joe shows us how a normal leader responds.

Legally speaking, they’re probably in the clear. The law generally does not impose a duty to assist or rescue other people. The closest thing that would seem to fit would be conspiracy to commit murder, but I can’t imagine any way there was an agreement among them to do so. Maybe one or more of them could get hit wit an assault charge, but it’s hard to see that stick since they mostly just stood around while Chauvin asphyxiated Floyd. It’s gross as hell, and I would live to see valid criminal charges against them, but I can’t really see a path to that.

FIFY Hehe…can’t wait to see how much it helps the situation when he pretends to “pardon” Obama and thereby commits his own act of racist law enforcement abuse.
