Occasion-Cortez has long advocated for cutting police budgets and funneling those dollars into education, mental health and other social services.
She’s right, you know. More money towards programs that keep people away from police and out of jail.

It is shocking how openly the GOP ghouls exhibit their hostility towards women. I’m certain Yoho treats his wife the same way.
AOC floats on the cheers of the crowd for her sassy Twitter presence, which can be entertaining, yet she remains a legislative dud.
If she could match the two sides I’d be more hopeful about her emergence as an effective legislator.

AOC is right to distinguish this verbal assault from the normal politically adversarial relationship she has with other Republican legislators. Perhaps Congressional leadership should consider disciplining in this case.

There’s an even worse word, one that I won’t use here but which everyone knows, that is regularly used by antipodes like Yoho against women who remind him of how disgusting, stupid and vile he is, but which in England is regularly used by men to describe men like him, and which I think fully applies here. He is, without a doubt, that, in the British usage of the word.
Perhaps he and Eliot Engel and join up and form one of those false equivalence promotion groups, considering that Engel recently said some not quite as vile but similarly unflattering things about her.

Yoho…good God. I’ve said it here before and Ill say it again: He’s dumb as a rock and phony as the day is long. I went to school with the fool and everyone knew he was destined to be nobody. He had a large animal veterinary practice in central Florida called Kanapaha Vet Services ( mostly dairy cows) that never made shit in the way of money. Then along came an opportunity. The Tea Party. So he got a job that pays 170K a year and twice that in benefits and DID NOTHING. No significant legislative achievements. He did the minimum to get lifelong benefits then hauled ass. 6 years and the “I hate government” guy gets a government check for life. POS.
Compare that to AOC…and you can see why he’s pissed off.

I was 19 when I came back from Vietnam. I had 2 bullets in me and a gash across my abdomen from shrapnel. I was jailed when I told a Judge I found it confusing that I was paid 330 bucks a month to kill innocent people but owed “the state” 30 bucks for having an expired inspection sticker on my car.
At 20 I knew all about this fucking world my friend.

The modern GOP exists solely to keep the rich, whites and men in power, in that order, and to make the richer even richer. To suggest otherwise is to broken in idiocy, ignorance or delusion. So, naturally Yoho’s a good fit and has prospered within it. The GOP is a rich white male Mafia.
