‘Obvious Anti-Semitic Attack’: Ossoff Slams Perdue’s Ad Showing Him With Fake Enlarged Nose | Talking Points Memo

Georgia Democratic Senate candidate Jon Ossoff is putting incumbent Sen. David Perdue (R-GA) on blast over the Republican’s Facebook campaign ad featuring a manipulated image of Ossoff, who is Jewish, that had been edited to enlarge his nose.

"The campaign added in a statement that the photo of Ossoff had been “resized and a filter was applied, which appears to have caused an unintentional error that distorted the image.”

What’s worse than American Nazis?

Cowardly American Nazis.

For the people Perdue is trying to fire-up there is no downside in being anti-semitic, Jews were not going vote for him anyway,

I edit images all the time. There’s nothing you can do accidentally that would cause a change like that. The fact is Ossoff doesn’t “look” Jewish, so they decided to help their voters get the message. (Neither does the altered image, but never mind that.) Study Nazi propaganda next time, you cracker dopes.

I wonder which filter “accidentally” turns images into Nazi propaganda?

So, will the Trump administration immediately designate Anti-Semitism a terrorist organization?

Perdue may not be aware of the bigotry against Southern accents, in Hollywood. That has been portrayed in all manner of negativity…even in venues not in the South at all.

There is so much bigotry and slighting of people in this country that some historians and social scientists have always been on to them. This is why I am looking forward to the end of the Trump Era and we can begin the task of becoming all one country again.

And, oh…by the way…it’s not just Southern accents…

“Get good taste…Get Starkist (Tuna)” is making a stereotypic statement.

The Perdue Campaign is either nasty…or desperate.

Or both.

“Senator Perdue did not see this ad before it was put out”

OK we can stop right there … IT WAS PUT OUT … IT WAS AN AD FOR - & - SUPPORTING PERDUE - and it was offensive .

Maybe it was entirely a technical graphics blunder (highly doubt - but OK) it does not matter… if you harm someone by accident you step up and say “I am sorry”… you don’t become some haughty indignant huffy brat and squeal that it was wasn’t your fault … and then rage at the person that your “accident” harmed and criticize them for having the audacity to be insulted by your insulting action.

…the Perdue campaign removed the ad and claimed that the alteration was an accident.

Ok. Giving you the benefit of the doubt, walk us through exactly how this “accident” happened.

“I want to make it abundantly clear that Senator Perdue did not see this ad before it was put out,” Burke said.

Nice try.

“It was an honest mistake! Who could have known the ‘Blood of Christian Babies’ filter would do that?”

He appears next to an unedited image of Sen. Chuck Schumer, who is also Jewish, with text that warned “Democrats are trying to buy Georgia!”

“The ad ends with the warning, ‘Make no mistake – they’re coming for your hams!’”

They do, I assure you.

It’s hard to believe that human beings are still absurd and crass and vicious enough to make a thing of being Jewish in the year 2020.

And yet, here we are.

Perdue did not see the ad, he says. All he did was dig up the remains of Leni Riefenstahl, clone them, perform a few dark rituals, and set her in charge of his campaign ads. He cannot be held responsible for the results.

“Heck, we have lots and lots of bigots working on our campaign. There’s no telling which one of them did this!”

I have a theory that the evolution of human intelligence is progressing on two separate paths, each in opposite trajectories.

Sen. David Perdue has a long history of going out of his way to be uniquely offensive in surprisingly nasty and innovative ways …
Remember this rodeo-ass-clown move ?
