President Obama on Friday will announce Deputy National Security Adviser Denis McDonough as his new chief of staff, a White House official said. Tony Blinken will replace McDonough as deputy national security adviser and assistant to the President. Jennifer Palmieri will become the White House’s communications director as Dan Pfeiffer takes on a new role as senior White House adviser. Obama is scheduled to announce the staff changes at 12:10 p.m. ET in the East Room of the White House.
