Former President Barack Obama asserted on Wednesday that President Donald Trump had led the charge on the racist “birther” movement in 2011 merely for the sake of self-promotion, given how he had publicly complimented Obama several times beforehand.
Once Trump unleashed Trumpism, it had to be fed…and, besides, he liked it.
And so did the GOP, Trump’s handlers and Trump’s enablers.
A dog whistle has to be born somewhere, right?
Racism + shamelessness = tRump
That’s going to leave a mark.

The attention he’ll get from law enforcement after 1/20 could be massive. But somehow he doesn’t seem to want it.
Go figure. 
That’s an easy call, since everything Trump does, has done, or ever will do is for attention. It’s his most valued reinforcer. I think even money and power are the means to that end, rather than the other way round…
And reinforcement drives behavior.

Well how do you like them apples? Obama calls out racist Trump which will distract him from his other distractions and spark bat-crap crazy tweets and ramblings from Hair Furor. 3D Chess indeed.
Obama does not just “say things”.
Obama is–quite nonchalantly–saying this coming at the heels of a Trump movement in which (so as to worship their god, Trump) people are willing to put themselves at the risk of illness and death just to show that their line of thinking is what they perceive is that of Trump’s.
This has potential to rock some worlds.
Before the “it doesn’t matter to the Trump Base” tsunami descends on my statement here, bear in mind that there are former Trumpers who are enraged over the deaths of loved ones needlessly sacrificed at the altar of Trump.
And how many times do you think Trump will mention Obama at tonight’s town hall? Needling him like this is an easy way to knock the big baby off his stride.
Plus, honestly, it’s fun.
My vocabulary fails to describe how much I detest trump.
And now on cnn .com he us saying the pandemic is over because he recovered.
This is definitely war, although of a more civilized type. Unfortunately, thinking like the enemy -taking delight in their downfall- is the only way we will win. Maybe in a decade or two, we can start talking about cooperation with ‘the other side’, but for now…smash them into the ground and laugh about it.
Last time he did that was as a teen-ager in Hawaii.
Of course Trump says these things. Attention might drift away from him to things of import. The whole voter fraud sham has its roots in the same soil.
I am so old that I can remember when voter fraud was not a thing until Obama won a second term.
Not that I’ve noticed.
Thing is… trump has no real line of thinking beyond what he needs in the moment.
