The TLDR version of the letter: “Here are those records you wanted that show the opposite of what you’re alleging, you morons.”

This Obama letter reminds me of when he told Romney in a 2012 debate to “please proceed” as Mitt was blowing up his chances for winning.

“The investigation picked up steam in February as Biden’s chances of becoming the Democratic 2020 nominee surged, and has been marred by at least one GOP witness coming under suspicion of being a vehicle for Russian disinformation efforts.”

The whole damned GOP is “a vehicle for Russian disinformation efforts”.

Every last one of them.

Not a good idea when you work for an idiot president to mess with a former president who was also a hotshot lawyer.

Every now and then republicans seem to forget how Obama ran rings around them.

I do hope that this serves as a reminder.

Precisely written – and accurate to boot.

Their misplaced anger prevents careful thinking.

It happens to lots of people – but with Republicans it’s almost by definition at this point.

Grassley and Johnson, as respective heads of the Senate Finance and Homeland Security committees, have picked up the investigative slack left behind by personal attorney for President Trump Rudy Giuliani.

It matters not what the archived materials uncover. Nothing will deter these people from their goal to spread enough innuendo and doubt around the Ukraine imbroglio to please their master. They just make stuff up to get around whatever unwelcome truths come into the light, and it doesn’t take much effort to sell it all to their faithful followers.

Interesting times, indeed.
