Federal prosecutors on Wednesday released more communications tying the leader of the national Oath Keepers militia group to alleged Capitol rioters.

I gave no orders. I was actually taking orders for my side gig as an Uber eats driver.

But prosecutors clearly have Rhodes in their slights.

noun

  1. an insult caused by a failure to show someone proper respect or attention.

“an unintended slight can create grudges”

I guess it’s about right.

Oh, the MFWSNBN “got the message” alright. He even responded, “We love you. You’re very special.”

So they’re saying that Rhodes kept an eye on the rebellion?

Bringing these people to justice and following the thread is going to lead to those “on the inside” who deserve to be revealed in the light of day and driven from political office. Pull back the curtain and reveal the traitors and insurrectionists who cloak themselves as patriotic and holy.

I know it’s catty to say this but the Hathaway shirts guy has really let himself go.

I’m really interested to see if the Gov has or will release in court any info on those "quick reaction forces”. The Oath Keepers have bragged for a long time about the weapons caches they claim to have stashed all around D.C.

Also the most absurd part by far of this whole thing is that it really seems they didn’t carry out their stated plan of ‘arresting’ all th lawmakers voting to certify the election literally because Trump never invoked the insurrection act and personally gave them the O.k. It’s just comical.

I want to link this to the other story about the Texas AG.

He may conceal his messages, but we can find them and when we do, Paxton will be the next one caught up in the net.

Don’t ever think your cellphone communication cannot be found. It can. This story validates the concept.

He said he’d keep an eye peeled.

He’ll flip.

Can’t see why not: Donnie stood them all up (‘didn’t do his duty,’) and then let them take the fall.
ETA: Whatever pleasure the insurrection may’ve given Hair Furor, he must’ve known the game was over when they got Pence and the Senate out of the chamber.

And you’d think an A.G. would know that … but then again (looking at you, South Dakota) they may assume that they’re somehow above it all. Like an off-duty cop flashing his badge when he gets pulled over, you know?

The language is pretty damning as far as the oath keepers are concerned, but without more it doesn’t tie the bow around Individual 1’s neck.

There’s an interesting sort of shock-of-recognition effect on your reaction when people you totally expected to be crybabies turn out, in fact, to be crybabies.

Shouldn’t he be wearing a monocle?

When I saw him I had a flashback to a corny 1960s beach movie.

So he is not in jail right now because…?
