It has been a challenge to refocus the anger and rage (and fear) from these shits poisoning our entire and focus civilization instead on life and living.

I would caution that there may still be a question of whether this makes it into the mainstream. The OAN audience is already lost, so it doesn’t matter much what they say. The WH should certainly have a strong response ready in case it does go mainstream, but I understand that any statement now potentially elevates the false claim.

I’m trying to think of any reason NOT to hate the air these nasty things breathe. Before reading this, I read about Stuart Varney on FQX running President Biden into the ground for trying to pass legislation to control “ghost guns”. Varney was sitting in front of a screen showing that 16 people were shot in a NY subway.
To be fair, they also have a prodigious spew of nonsense, superstition, claptrap, and pseudoscience.
All of this disgusting crap is filthy fucking fascists screeching. Yes, it’s on us to deal with it. We are getting no appreciable help in this bullshit tsunami. Today’s TPM headlines are beyond depressing and really not worth anything if not to motivate us into a serious plan to wipe this garbage out.
But those buzzwords are very effective with far too many Americans.

I share your frustration, however, it’s this is (yet another) case of asymmetric warfare. The old saying that a lie travels round the world before truth can put on its boots captures that fact. It’s extremely easy to just make up accusations and seed them in fertile soil. Pulling the weedy growth that follows is a much bigger project.
