McKinley is going to hurt trump badly—just by being fair and truthful.
Trump doesn’t know how to handle that.

That’s how you do it - you resign, then you tell your part of the story. Kudos, Mr. Ambassador.

Another diplomatic corps professional has a few problems with Trump using the State Department for his personal benefit.

Must not have gotten the memo that the entire U.S. government - every agency, every department, every person - is Trump’s to use as he pleases (it says so in Article II of the Constitution … really, it’s right there).

Thank you. I was starting to think it was only the women who had some integrity.

And also, who can forget when the US Marines stood shoulder to shoulder with Honorius and his legions against Alaric I, Ataulff and the Visigoths at the Sack of Rome?

This is still shaping up to be a LeCarre novel in real life.

And my greatest fear is, it’s all a setup. I know Trump and his cronies aren’t smart enough to be this devious. But I’ve been wrong before and would gladly be wrong about its all being a setup.

The country known as “Italy”, officially the “Republic of Italy”, is actually younger than the United States.

Italia was a region in the southern part of what is now known as Italy.

Of course one cannot expect a stable genius to know this.

I’ve noticed Fat Nixon has run his mouth on every perceived insult and transgression under the sun except for our Ms. Marie and Fiona, and now Mr. McKinley. I wonder why is that?

He always blathers on like he is saying something profound when it is obvious he has not only not read the book, he didn’t even bother to read the synopsis on the back cover. THe only thing profound about Trump is his limitless ignorance, which he proudly displays at every opportunity.

But the Kurds were nowhere to be found.

From the crucifixion, to feeding Christians (the real ones, not today’s version) to the lions, to Al Capone and the mafia. And that thing about being one of the Axis powers in WWII.

Although, recently the trend is that people are testifying who haven´t resigned, even when explicitly ordered not to.

Some person, Trish Regan, who I’ve never heard of, at Fox Business News claims the following letter from Trump to Erdogan was leaked to her. Is it for real? Your guess is as good as mine. If it is, we are truly living in Bizarro World.
