NYC Office-Sharing Startup “Loosecubes” Shuts Down | Talking Points Memo

New York City-based office sharing startup company Loosecubes, which allowed users to sign-up to use vacant office spaces for limited blocks of time, is shutting its doors, the company announced suddenly on its blog Tuesday. Loosecubes didn’t give a reason for the abrupt shutdown. The startup company had just raised a $7.8 million round of venture capital funding and had expanded to 236 cities prior to its shutdown.
