Something I noticed in the exit polls. In NJ and VA, voters were pretty open they were voting against Trump and the Republicans because of what is going on right now. The Dem party is still in the toilet when polled specifically about it. But in NYC, over 80% said they came to vote FOR Mamdani. Obama was the last candidate to get over 50% of his voters saying that in NYC, and just barely over 50%. 80% of Mamdani voters were actually excited to vote FOR HIM and his policies. I know the national party is already trying to make the moderate governors the face of the party, but that really couldn’t be more stupid. No one was inspired by them, they just wanted to stick to the R’s. That sentiment will win the midterms, probably even the 2028 presidency, but then we’ll be right back where we started this year, unless either the Dem establishment recognizes ‘we’re going to go back to how it was before Trump’ is a dead end that leads to another Trump, or we vote all the losers in ‘leadership’ out and actually deliver what people want to vote FOR. Most likely, neither happens and we get another weak 1 term president, followed by Don Jr. or similar.
