IF NYC goes about this correctly theyā€™ll have to be sure thereā€™s no pork in the money budgeted for this operation.

Trump, of course, will publicly tell his backers to back off the Jewish communities.

Fortunately the White House is occupied by Donald "I am the least anti-Semitic person that youā€™ve ever seen in your entire lifeā€ Trump, who will take to the bully pulpit and stop these attacks by reminding us that there ā€œwere very fine people, on both sides.ā€

Makes me wonder if thereā€™s something circulating somewhere on social media thatā€™s egging people.

Thatā€™s a legit question for sure.

It isnā€™t like there is some blithering idiot attracting maladjusted adherents or anything. Not a thing out there.

Nope, just a series of unfortunate coincidences.

Iā€™m not sure about the incidents in NYC, but I believe the shooters in Jersey City were Black Hebrew Israelites. I donā€™t see that MAGAts and Black Hebrew Israelites would have much in common.

But there are a lot of things that I never thought that I would see that I have seen during the Trump presidency, so I guess anything is possible.

Just because Mel Brooks can do it, doesnā€™t mean the rest of us can. We can try, but we always fall short.

Any connection to these fine folks: A ā€˜Cult,ā€™ Two Armed Men and A Christmas Pageant

So maybe they do have more in common than I guessed.

I have never understood, and donā€™t expect I ever will, how people who worship a peaceful Savior (Christ) who preached nonviolence, have such anger and resentment within them. I donā€™t mean to tar the many with the few, but these hate crimes occur far too frequently.

Christians demand Muslims speak out every time a ā€œJihadiā€ commits an atrocity. I think more good Christians and Christian leaders need to speak boldly and clearly when their followers commit bigoted acts of violence. And they need to repudiate Trump in no uncertain language, because any defense of Trump sends a message that this is fine. And itā€™s not. Looking at you, Graham and Falwell.

Brooks a GI in WWII saw much action on the Western Front. He did not directly open any of the camps but in his capacities came into indirect contact. It was his contention that satire was essential for defining moments such as he witnessed. Only Brooks could have made The Producers. Your point is taken; Brooks was and is a unique case.

Well Mel Brooks may have been in WWII but Iā€™d wager @steviedee111 has bombed more times than he has.

and no milking the situation for publicity while the beefing up is in progress.

Actually the Blacks for Trump guy who is frequently featured at his rallies holding his sign has ties to the Yahweh ben Yahweh cult.

Okay. But when arsonists were burning African AME churche, was the ā€œpolice presenceā€ beefed up?
