Who’s paying his lawyers?

Discovery in this defamation suit is going to be fun. I bet Adam Schiff would love to question Rep. Cow Pie.

I wish CNN would take this to trial and start subpoenaing and deposing everyone associated with the Ukraine case. If Nunes tries to pull “classified” or they try to pull “executive privilege” rebut with “hey - he’s the one suing us over this.”

Is this the kind of lawsuit where CNN, if it prevails at trial by showing the truth of their reporting and/or right to report the story, can file for damages and costs defending themselves?

Poor, poor, Devin. He is as stupid as he looks.

Where’d he come up with that number? Isn’t that about what was held up by tRump for Ukraine? Fuck this guy. In a little more than a year this asshole will be behind bars so CNN do what all these tRumpsters do…drag it out, make him add on new lawyers and delay, delay, delay. Two can play that game. If a judge doesn’t reject this suit as frivolous I’ll be surprised. In the meantime, make him pay through the nose for his litigiousness. Let’s see how long that lasts.

He has allegedly raised $900K to cover legal costs.

Nunes has a history of filing SLAPP suits whenever his corruption or general lack of honor is exposed and it would be nice to see him finally punished for the practice; doubt CNN will but sure wish someone would.

$435 million? That’s a lot of cows…

Biss has really bad timing with this one. His other 4 suits were questionable. Burden of proof and all. This one puts his client front and center of jeopardy.

That’s what I thought initially. I think that amount was a little less though. So who knows.

Wow. I love the amount he’s suing for; doesn’t he know his reputation isn’t worth 2 cents? It would be a wonderful trial to watch, but it will never get that far.

Maybe he’ll have to sell his California farm. But wait, he has no California farm.

Note that this coward won’t file in his home state of California, where CNN could file an anti-SLAPP motion and get attorneys fees. What a slimeball.

I know he is representative of the not too smart people of California’s 22nd district that elected him. But really among the 800K people living in the district isn’t there a wingnut that is not so pathetically stupid?

Oh. The marks.

So, after finding out Mooones is a participant in the Ukraine scheme and has contact with Guiliani and Parnas, he sues CNN for defamation because they reported this?

Unless his lawyers are fools, the case will be immediately withdrawn to prevent discovery and depositions.

In a defamation suit filed in U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Virginia, Nunes demands CNN shell out $435,000,000 in damages.

EDVA, huh? Please, please, please let this land in Judge Cranky’s lap. Give him a chance to redeem himself.
