NRA Throwing Everything At The Wall To Fight New York Attorney General Probe

Including Bill Barr, which may mean hazardous duty pay. Zikes! Barr will get involved b/c there’s is sooo much there, starting with the Russians and Moscow Mitch - all that redacted shit in the Mueller Report.

I will put my money on AG Letitia James!

Everyone now knows the NRA is not promoting gun safety any longer. The NRA wants the gun manufacturers to make and sell as many guns as they like! The deadlier they are the better!

Sick bunch of sorry ass white elite men!

The Mormons really don’t like Trump…for all of his conservative positions, they take things like infidelity a lot more seriously than even evangelicals, and Trump’s “family values” are pretty much the opposite of what Mormons think is good.

We can only hope everything else in that poll is accurate, it’s going to depend on the Democrat that runs but if that holds the Republicans are in real trouble, Trump will drag them down with him.

Too early but nice to see. I get the impression that Trump has lost voters. No one who did not vote for him can be pleased with his performance.

The NRA has twisted the Republican party around its finger, making it a requirement that the party go along with “guns for everyone, no limits” as a religious tenant of the party. That connects to the white supremacists, who are using violence to “overthrow tyranny” of the “invasion” of non-whites into the nation. No, it makes no sense as a policy, but it’s what they are depending on for the next election. If the NRA folds, or loses enough power, the Republicans might cave into the 90% of Americans that want our gun laws reformed and more checks in place in order to save kids from being shot in school. If the NRA manages to keep hold of enough Republicans in 2020, then they will hopefully be overwhelmed by all the Americans pissed off at Republicans blocking any progress on gun laws. Lose lose for those two organizations, and they deserve it.

When the rubles dry up, the problems mount up.

Sad…

Meh, any polls asking if someone will vote for Trump are skewed.

I’ve yet to meet a Trump voter, over 2 1/2 years after the election.

Plenty of people I suspect are, but basically zero who will admit it.

That’s a real and significant problem that shouldn’t be overlooked. There are a lot of people out there who are going to vote for him again (most likely reason: abortion), but who are very uncomfortable admitting that to anyone.

The NRA’s days are numbered. They’ve made too many enemies and already called in all of their debts. It’s only a matter of time before they’re powerless and on the run. Soon, even Republicans in the reddest of states won’t be returning their calls. This isn’t happening soon enough, but it is happening.

“The requests support a longshot, yet aggressive, allegation from the NRA that it’s been targeted by New York state for political reasons.”

IANAL, but I’m pretty sure the NRA has a rock-solid defense under the ADA.

If they just label all those weapons “emotional-support guns” for nanogenitalia, they’re home free.

Utah’s lack of support sounds unlikely initially until you realize there’s a solid religious base there, and the women in it have been offended by 45 since day one. Still doesn’t mean they’ll vote for a Dem, but voting for a R instead will hurt him.

@drriddle Give Utah Rs an alternative and they’ll vote for him, and it will be a him, maybe Weld.

So by having the NRA chartered as a non-profit in New York mean anything? Couldn’t they just go and have themselves chartered in AL, MS, GA, or either Carolina? Wouldn’t the cost be justified?
