Cmon, it’s not like they were flying her pet rabbit around on a private jet.

LaPierree also treated his membership with more debt.

I have an ex friend who volunteers at gun shows asking people to join the NRA
He can work all day to collect 50 bucks. I wonder how he feels about la pierre’s habits. They should all know they are chumps by now.

We knew they were crooks, but this kind of self-dealing makes it hard to avoid doing the time.

Speaking of corporate liability: J&J’s on the hook. Why aren’t Smith & Wesson, and the others?

Does this sort of misuse of funds (free flights for family members) put the NRA’s nonprofit status at risk? Is it a “crime” by LaPierre or just a misdemeanor? Can the NRA Board be held liable?

Get’em Tish!

Barr and the DOJ have no time to follow up on any federal violations relating to the NRA… They’re too busy going after McCabe and fashioning new even more restrictive rules for immigration judges.

LaPierre is turning 70 this year and now is forced to draw income out of his retirement plan. He drew $3M last year which, if this represents 5% draw, translates to a retirement account worth $60M pre-tax. I think he can afford to reimburse the NRA for family use of the airplane.

Hmmm, somehow “bare naked arse” almost makes that sound more respectable.

He’ll give back the plane when they pry it from his cold, greedy hands.

Grifters gotta grift.

I presume that’s a rhetorical question… Unlike basically every other industry, the gun manufacturers got themselves a legal exception whereby they can’t be sued.

But laws can be changed, and that one is such a pile of excrement that repeal of the exemption should be passed right along with the universal background checks and the assault rifle ban. Screw LaPierre and the NRA.

100000000000% agree (skipped a few zeroes). But we ain’t there yet, and need the WH and Senate to do it. Then need to get the Supreme Court on our side, as they’ll just overturn it…
