Now That Trump’s Been Indicted, Jim Jordan Wants To Defund The Police

ChatGPT, filter that for bad-faith bullshit.

“Yeah,” Jordan replied. “And what I’d really like, frankly, I’d really like for the government just to stay out of the process of corrupting and stealing elections when it’s the GOP doing the corrupting and stealing."

Thanks, ChatGPT!

Yes…“making a fuss”…it’s what they do…legislating for the benefit of constituents…what’s that? You would think that people would tire of the charade and elect someone aligned with the countries interest and prosperity…you would be wrong.

To Gym, justice is served if reactionaries control the government, control all of its enforcement arms or when they control both.
He’s consistent.
While there’s a lot about perpetuating his faction’s power here, I can’t find anything about maintaining meaningful democracy in his message.

“The well-known type species, Amoeba proteus, is found on decaying bottom vegetation of freshwater streams and ponds. There are numerous parasitic amoebas.”

Seems spot on!

"I’d really like for the government just to stay out of the election process.”

This the GOP’s head of the House Judiciary Committee? I feel like I can’t stop hearing this in a loop. We need to get GOVERNMENT to stay OUT OF THE ELECTION process.

Maybe it’s because I work at my county election office. Maybe it’s because election laws are set entirely by government. Maybe it’s because I thought their old complaints about 2022 with Dominion and “Zuckbucks” was getting private enterprise out of the election process. So what’s left if both the government and private sector must stay out of the election process?

Jordan should be roasted endlessly with such a ridiculous statement.

Fascists tend to openly and proudly “telegraph” their fascist intentions. The MAGA Repubs are a clear and present danger to the nation. They are very clear in their intentions.

"The road to fascism is lined with people telling you to stop overreacting."

It doesn’t matter. It was an “attack” on their hero. What a bunch of crap. Jordan has no idea as to what the job he has been elected to entails. I really want to see these morons defend him on J6, Georgia, and the M-a-L papers. He is guilty of all the accusations.

From a WaPo article:

Trump attorney Joe Tacopina said on CNN Sunday that Trump’s legal team wants the process to be “as painless and classy as possible.”

Immediately followed by:

Trump continued to lash out at Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg, a Democrat who is bringing the case, as well the judge handling it, in late-night social media posts on Sunday. He called Bragg “corrupt” and claimed that [Judge] Merchan hates him.

But in Trumplandia, that is most assuredly as classy as possible.

Are the courts that they have tried to use to change the election results part of the Government?

“We control the power of the purse… We’re gonna have to look at the appropriations process and limit funds going to some of these agencies, particularly the ones who are engaging in the most egregious behavior,” Jordan said during the Fox interview.
