The FBI is certainly a police organization. I agree that when republicans think of the police they mean those thugs whose whole purpose in keeping POC in their place.
BTW yesterday I saw something and I am writing the Mayor about it. There was this cop in olive uniform complete with bullet-proof vest and AR magazines sticking out… signaling a lane closure. This militarization of the police is outrageous, there is hardly any crime in our city, the last time a police officer was shot was 10 years ago.
