Originally published at: Not Just Non-Citizens And Dems: Trump’s Got A GOP Guy To Blame If He Loses, Too - TPM – Talking Points Memo
It’s been clear to those paying attention for some time that Donald Trump has no intention of accepting the results of an election he loses. For two years now, he’s dodged repeatedly in public anytime he’s presented with a version of the now-very-familiar questions: “Will you accept the results of the election?” “Will you commit…
So What…
I think that I’m in love with Baldura
It is never him. He didn’t do it and so he is not to blame. It is always the other guy.
Sounds like a 6 year old to me.
Trump and Republicans will blame everyone but themselves, because they believe that they are right and should be able to force their will onto the rest of us. It’s in line with their Christian theocracy push, so they think they are on a Misson From God and anything that gets in the way is the work of Satan. That’s the core that the rest of the MAGA movement is built from, and it’s why they can never be granted power again, because they really will undo our nation and replace it with something that has no real resemblance to a democracy.
The Very Real Scenario Where Trump Loses and Takes Power Anyway
This will only happens if Joe is really asleep on the wheel. The SCOTUS gave him permission to do whatever he wanted, and even if the Fascist Six change their mind, because of his age he is unlikely to be held accountable of any broken laws.
Trump’s made it clear: Whatley will be to blame.
This is the orange bully’s version of a pep-talk. Nothing more, nothing less.
Trump signals to Whatley that Trump’s only hope now is a miraculous ground game. That’s important information for the left hand to share with the right hand: it’s all on you, now.
But, Trump does not need a scapegoat if he loses. He doesn’t need to prepare an alibi or excuse for losing.
“When he reached the New World, Cortez burned his ships. As a result, his men were well-motivated.” – Marko Ramius (Sean Connery) in The Hunt for Red October
Trump doesn’t burn ships. He invokes his hard-earned reputation as a vindictive and diligent bully. Same result: the men are well-motivated.
I guess we’re going to find out if Whatley can make up in 7 days what it normally takes a well-trained organization months to do.
Maxie is pretty darn cute.
Advertising purity purges and the scapegoating of Party members for questionable loyalty, drive and devotion.
I can’t say it’s a good way to keep a political party together when you don’t control your country’s Central Committee.
She does not suffer fools well. How she puts up with me is another mystery.
“Where are you, Michael? Stand up. We’re counting on this guy. I didn’t take him from any other state. I took him right from here,” Trump said. “So Michael, you better win or you’re never going to be able to come back here. He doesn’t win, he won’t be at RNC and he will no longer be in North Carolina. He’ll be looking for a job.”
“Movie mob boss” mode. (Way too noisy to be the real thing.)
With every thing he says and does Herr Drumpf behaves like a guy who in an earlier century would have been given a blindfold and stood against a brick wall.
Execute a couple disloyal/incompetent members with an anti-aircraft gun, and everybody will stay in line.
I would have thought that, with the closeness of their relationship, that’s just the lesson Donnie would have learned from Kim Jong Un.
Execute a couple disloyal/incompetent members with an anti-aircraft gun, and everybody will stay in line.
Can we start with the Canadian Rafael Cruz, Glitch McConnell, and (p) rick Scott?
When the short-fingered vulgarian loses he’ll be pointing every one of those short fingers at anybody and everybody else as the reason. Well cry me a river ex-president sick fuck, may your misery consume you every one of your remaining days until beelzebub calls you home.

I second that emotion. What a beautiful kitty!
Donald Trump cannot fail, he can only be failed.
