Republicans’ outrage over Cawthorn’s Veep-esque account of congressional indiscretions stands in glaring contrast to their [muted response] to Reps. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-GA) and Paul Gosar (R-AZ) speaking at a white nationalist conference last month.
Because White nationalists are the base of the Republican Party.

Hmmmm - Tillis is around the age that Cawthorn was talking about. And both are from NC so I’m guessing Tillis is one of those guys Cawthorn “looked up to”. They are even from the same part of the state.

Madcaw raised $2.9 mil in 2021, yet he’s in a worse campaign cash position than his main challenger Edwards. Where did the money go? Regardless, it appears his stupid stunts are desperate outrage fundraising. Every time he says something outrageous (like his orgy comments), he gets a bunch of out of state campaign donations. Same strategy MTG and Gaetz were using, until people (sic) got tired of them.

Cawthorne’s mistake was saying that Republicans were engaging in coke-fueled (and not Diet©) orgies. It’s the party line to allege that Democrats do it. Rookie mistake.

Yes rookies make mistakes. That’s why they should STFU and listen during their first term at least.
Except that in this case he’s pissed off powerful Goobers in DC and his state government all of whom seek reelection as “clean livers”. I would think that a mud and shit encrusted hog would get the primary nod from Sen. Tillis and the rest of his crowd rather than young Master Hot Wheels.
