Seems like a violation of voters’ Due Process and/or Equal Protection rights to substantially alter the authority of an elected office after the election for that office has occurred. It’s no longer the office they voted for.

Yeah, that “mandate” thing does not apply if it is Democrats who won…by greater numbers than the FatOrangeGrifter.
